This DVD contains PLAT flight operations footage from USS Midway (CV-41) after the transition to F-18's, and also the 1948 documentary titled "Aboard the Flattop Midway"

A very rare edition of the 1948 documentary, "Aboard The Flattop Midway", which consistes of title panels instead of voice narration. This video was captured directly off the original film. It consists of flight operations, 2 crashes, gunnery excercises, scenes around the ship and liberty call in Haiti. Over 15 minutes

Over 15 minutes PLAT video of routine flight operations. Includes F-18's, A-6's, E-2C's, SH-3H. This video represents the final air wing configuration for the USS Midway

Total running time of the DVD is over 30 minutes
