Welcome and Thank You for looking at USS Midway Cruise Books on CDROM. The profits from each purchase go towards the maintenance of CV41.ORG and the San Diego
Aircraft Carrier Museum, home of the USS Midway.

Cruise books on CDROM sell for $20.00 each plus $4.75 shipping and handling per order up to three CDROMs. Shipping and handling free on orders of 4 or more CDROMs. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

The CV41.ORG Cruise Book Web Store uses PayPal shopping carts for secure Internet transactions.

You are not required to have a PayPal account to make credit card purchases.

If you wish to order without using PayPal you can download the mail in Order Form to pay by check or money order.

General Information

The cruise books on CDROM are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. They are typically broken down into 100-125 page parts.

Adobe's Acrobat Reader
is required for viewing. Click on the link above to download it free from Adobe.

All pages are scanned and processed with Adobe PhotoShop.

When possible defects such as creases, markings, stains, poor photo quality were corrected. This is not a perfect process, but I have tried to preserve the cruise books as close to mint condition as possible.

The Cruise Book discs should autorun in Windows. Please refer to the QuikStart Instructions should you have problems running the disc.

If you are a Apple Macintosh user please e-mail me brfore ordering. Not all titles have been converted to run on Macs yet.

If you wish to print a paper copy it is recommended you use a laser printer or print shop.

When you open the cruise book you can expand the bookmark tab on the left to navigate easily to specific sections. The thumbnails tab will display a list of page preview thumbnails. NOTE - The sample PDFs do not contain bookmarks.

In addition to the cruise book in Adobe PDF format each CDROM also contains desktop wallpapers. More wallpaper files will be available in the future and free for download as a cruise book purchaser.

There is also a PDF of double pages that have been "stitched" together on each disk.

The cruise books are NOT OCR scanned allowing for text searching. Sorry, but this process takes a considerable amount of time.
